Kravetz Alexandre, tenor
Alexander Kravetz, tenor, was born in the Ukraine. His repertoire includes Zinovi in Lady Macbeth of Metsensk at La Scala and with Boston Symphony Orchestra, The Incredible in Andrea Chénier at the Royal Opera House, Shipman in The Tale of Tsar Saltan at La Monnaie de Bruxelles and Teatro Real Madrid, Chekalinsky in Pique Dame at Semperoper Dresden and Second Jew in Salome at Grand Théâtre de Genève, the Policeman in the Nose, Pedrillo in Die Entfhurung aus dem Serail, Monostatos in Die Zauberflote, Bardolfo in Falstaff, Kudriash in Katya Kabanova, Pong in Turandot and many other roles. He performs regularly in opera houses all over the world including La Scala in Milan, the Metropolitan in New York, Paris, Brussels, Monte Carlo, Munich, Berlin, Geneva, Düsseldorf, Bonn, Bologna, Madrid, Naples, Nantes, Angers, Liege, Amsterdam, Palermo, Venice and many others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
