Born in Hungary. Her repertoire includes Sylva in Czardas Princess (Kalman), Hanna Glawari
in Die lustige Witwe (Lehar), Ellen in Miss Saigon (Schoenberg), Kathy Selden in Singin’
in the Rain (Brown) and others.

ZSOLT DÁNIELFY (PRINCE POPULESCU) BARITONE
Born in Hungary. He works as a theatre, film, operetta and television actor in many companies
and productions in Hungary. He received the Hungarian Golden Cross and a Csokonai award.

DÁNIEL DINYÉS CONDUCTOR
Born in Hungary. He graduated from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music. He conducted many
productions at the Hungarian National Opera as well as at the opera houses of Bárka and Csiky
Gergely. He received the Vastaps award for his Intro to Opera series at the Katona József Theatre.

Born in Hungary. Her reprtoire includes Sylva in Czardas Princess, the title role in Die Bayadere
(Kalman), Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss), the Queen of the Night in Die
Zauberflöte (Mozart), Norina in Don Pasquale (Donizetti), Violetta in La traviata (Verdi) and
others. She performed in the opera houses of Budapest, Genova and others.

Born in Hungary. His repertoire includes Che in Evita (Lloyd Webber), Valjean in Les
Miserables, John in Miss Saigon (Schoenberg), Leopold Mozart in Mozart, Crawley in Rebecca
(Lévay), Father Laurence in Romeo & Juliet (Presgurvic), Cogsworth in Beauty and The
Beast (Menken) and others.

TÜNDE FRANKÓ (MANJA) SOPRANO
Born in Hungary. She was the member of the Hungarian State Opera House for many years
where she performed leading roles in many classical as well as contemporary Hungarian operas.

ÁGNES GYARMATHY SET & COSTUME DESIGNER
Born in Hungary. She has designed numerous productions for the Hungarian State Opera, the
Budapest Operetta Theatre as well as for many Hungarian films. She teaches at the Academy of
Fine Arts in Budapest. She designed the sets for the movie Mephisto directed by Istvan Szabo
which won the 1981 Oscar for Best Foreign Film.

BORI KÁLLAY (PRINCESS BOZENA) SOPRANO
Born in Hungary. Her repertoire includes Anhilte in Czardas Princess (Kalman), which she performed
in Berlin, Baden-Baden, Tel Aviv and others.

AISHA KARDFFY (LISA) SOPRANO
Born in Hungary. Her repertoire includes Stázi in Czárdás Princess and Lisa in Countess
Maritza (Kalman).

MIKLÓS-GÁBOR KERÉNYI - KERO® STAGE DIRECTOR
Born in Hungary. A graduate of the University of Theatre and Film Arts, he has been the head of
the Budapest Operetta Theatre between 2001 and 2014. He has directed musical, opera and
operetta performances. His Csárdás Princess (Kalman) was performed in Salzburg and
Prague, his Countess Maritza (Kalman) in the Vienna Volksoper and his Bayadere (Kalman) in
St. Petersburg. He was awarded the prestigious Kossuth Award in 2008.

MIKLÓS -MÁTÉ KERÉNYI ( I S T VÁN LIEBENBERG) TENOR

JENŐ LŐCSEI CHOREOGRAPHER
Born in Hungary. He is a dancer and choreographer. He was a soloist at the Hungarian
State Opera Ballet, the Vienna Staatsoper Ballet, the Norwegian National Ballet and the West
Berlin Deutsche Oper Ballet. He has created the choreography for Die Bayadere (Kalman),
Die lustige Witwe (Lehar), Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss) as well as several musicals.

LÁSZLÓ MAKLÁRY CONDUCTOR AND MUSICAL DIRECTOR
Born in Hungary. Having graduated form the Ferenc Liszt University of Music, he studied with
Karajan and learned from Leonard Bernstein during the course of his studies abroad. In 1976, he
became the Music Director of the Madách theatre, becoming the Budapest Operetta Theatre’s Music
Director in 1979. His most notable productions include Rigoletto (Verdi), Madama Butterfly
(Puccini), The Csárdás Princess (Kalman) and Land das Lächelns (Lehar).

GÁBOR MELIS (TSCHEKKO) ACTOR
Born in Hungary. He worked in a number of major Hungarian companies, including the
National Theatres of Szeged, Pécs, Debrecen and Miskolc. He also works as a television actor.

KÁROLY PELLER (ISTVÁN LIEBENBERG) BARITONE
Born in Hungary. His repertoire includes Boni in Czardas Princess (Kalman), Orlofsky in Die
Fledermaus (J. Strauss), Bobinet in La Vie Parisienne (Offenbach), Njegus in Die lustige
Witwe (Lehar) and others.

GÁBOR DÉZSY SZABÓ (KUDELKA) BARITONE
Born in Hungary. His repertoire includes Frosch in Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss), Bogdanowitsch in Die
lustige Witwe (Lehar), Riff in West Side Story (Bernstein), Count Arco in Mozart (Lévay), Diction
Coach in Singin’ in the Rain (Brown) and others.

SZILVI SZENDY (LISA) SOPRANO
Born in Hungary. Her repertoire includes Olga in Die lustige Witwe, Mi in Land das
Lächelns (Lehar), Lisa in Grafin Mariza, Stasi in Czardas Princess (Kalman), Metella in La Vie
Parisienne (Offenbach) and others.
