The Galil Orchestra is the special guest in the coming Saturday Opera Highlights concert in a program of excerpts from Mozart operas focusing n the tense relationships between servants and masters and between men and women in the operas Don Giovanni, Le nozze di Figaro, Cosi fan tutte and Die Entfhurung aus dem Serail.
The Galil Orchestra and the Polyphony Education comprises young Arab and Jewish musicians who perform together in concerts in Israel an abroad.
So what happens in the Mozart bedrooms? What does the Count want from Susanna and what does the Countess thinks of it? What does Cherubino look for in the Countess' bedroom and how does the Count feel about it? What do the sisters Fiordiligi and Dorabella talk about when no one is listening? And how does their maid Despina advise them to handle their boyfriends? And will Zerlina walk off from under the canopy straight into the arms of the seductive Don Giovanni?
All this and much more in a concert focusing the masters who passionately woo their servant maids and the ladies who search for passion in forbidden quarters.
