F. Mitchell Dana, originally designed this production of Turandot for the Royal Opera to open at the 1984 US Olympics in Los Angeles. He has designed well over 600 other plays, musicals, and operas for Broadway, off Broadway, and regional theatres

across the US and Canada. He was vice president of the US design union, United Scenic Artists, for 20 years, and taught at the graduate level at Rutgers University.
