Ann Petersen, born in Denmark, excels in the German repertoire of Wagner and R. Strauss. She performed in major opera houses, including Wiener Staatsoper, Staatsoper Berlin, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Teatro alla Scala, Teatro Colón, Opéra National de Paris, Teatro Real de Madrid, and the Bolshoi Theatre Moscow. Recent projects include Sieglinde in Die Walküre and the leading role in Tosca at the Royal Danish Opera, Leonore in Fidelio at the Polish National Opera, Minnie in La Fanciulla del West in Bologna, Isolde in Tristan und Isolde in Luxembourg and more. This is her Israeli Opera debut.
