Scottish lyric tenor Michael Gibson graduated from Royal College of Music's International Opera Studio with the Aldama scholarship, following studies at Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Royal Northern College of Music. He participated in the Jette Parker Artists Programme at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden where his repertoire included Heinrich in Tannhäuser, Gastone in La traviata, Young Servant in Elektra, Normanno in Lucia di Lammermoor and Borsa in Rigoletto. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
